Hi All Desi’s in Canada, who are claiming to be frustrated /no happy etc …
I will suggest you to make a point to put yearly trip to India. This will help you guys in understanding that how good place you are living. Or rather will realize the value of developed world living standards.
Recently I made trip to Naanital from delhi. Unfortunately trains from Delhi to kotgdam (35 km from naanital) go only from Old Delhi railway station.
My god, the kid of human filth that this old Delhi are holds. The dirtiness , the bad smell , the bad mouth crowd etc god knows what. In fact after coming back to old Delhi railway ( Also passing thru UP area , people simply throw stones on AC compartment on running train ), the moment my taxi enter daulan kuan and moves towards Gurgaon, I myself realize on how good place I am staying. Otherwise even I crip on how bad the gurgaon roads/traffic is ..
So make point to visit India and that not only in high posh area but ground below This will help you in knowing the values of what you guys have.

I'm based in Montreal and even I have met with Cdesis(winter travel with family) both in TO and here.
I guess there is a very good reason why they prefer to hide.
This debate is really futile. What am I hoping to achieve that both you and DTC have not already done to yourselves?
What am i(or anybody else) trying to mess up?
your social life?
your career growth?
relationship with neighbours?
your personal lives?
your physical health?
your mental balance?
I dont think you guys need help on any of those fronts
Make you 'more' unhappy?
. Maybe find a way to send you back to India and then make you immigrate to canada for a second time. Nope, cannot see a way to do that.You guys would really help immigrants if you write a book on what not to do in Canada when it comes to any of the above points.
