There's a radicalism with both set of them. There are those that are atheist and don't believe in God, but equally understand that people have faiths and believe to 'live and let live' with difference of opinion. Then, there are those that defy and laugh at people that practice Dogma and their beliefs peacefully.
The world is clearly witnessing 'my God is superior' tendencies in a rather negative manner.
Both are dangerous to the world. One way or the other, the strong beliefs (atheism or theism) and ridiculing the ones with difference is harmful.
Your God, and how you practice/pamper him should be a private affair, as much as the opposite. But no, people need to own him, own the very practices/rituals and shove it to the outside world. The buck doesn't stop there itself.

I like not being religious , I love it . Free living without any mental barriers and then you can laugh at events around you. Its like running through 'moksha' on the earth itself.
I like practicing atheism and am ardent critique ( rather sadistically enchanted to do so) of failed concept of religion. And I have my reasons.
Reasons like We will never hear an atheist beheading or piecing , lynching other human being(s). Religion divided humanity and made them enemies among themselves . History witnessed EVERY religion is involved in mass killings. There is so much of historical as well as current data on religion and its negative impact on humanity that its easy to infer that something is not right about it. Not 'Godly'. Then why buy into the concept, out of fear ?

So God, the perfect badhshah of universe, does nothing to stop killings on his own name ? sounds like some dud entity full of apathy to me. I am amazed at the fact that people continue to show compassion towards such an entity and that 'guy' is mast in his own duniya !
God is created by Man, Let me prove that..
Different names of the God has different geographical limitation same as reach of humans was limited to their own location on earth. The origin of all Gods or god names is from the era when communication mode were next to nil and human reach was limited.
Hindus in Indus region said Brahma is creator of universe. This fact was not known to anybody in Europe who discovered rest of the earth , Even today they are oblivion of the fact. So Brhama, the God who created everything, struggled to spread his aura because of limited human reach Or was 'he' only brain child of humans from one part of the world ?
Guru Granth Sahib, the latest compiled book, ~1350 pages, lot of mention of Allah, Ram & other Hindu gods but no mention of JC the God's own son ! why , Guru Nanak during is voyages towards west went only till Mecca and Mughals brought only knowledge about Allah to this part of the Hindu world, British came later than compilation of Guru Granth. Thus jesus got missed out in the mentions of a religious book which talks about all gods. Easy to imply that when humans start a religion, they give a new name to God and weave the concept of almighty based on knowledge limited to the region.
and there are many such leafs in history books.
Strangely Gods also look like its creators (men). Jesus is white with blond hair. Rama and krishna were Brown boys from what I know because browns created them. Vishnu and Brahma was not blond either. There is no negro God because that race had no say in the world till Sir Lincon did something for them. Thus Men created their own Gods , while sitting in their own Dens,who not amazingly look like their creators.
Question is even if man names it differently in different region, does the 'actual' God really exists? or in other words is there any creator of this universe ? Seems like there is no conclusive answer to this question and when there is no conclusion or hard evidence on existence of such an entity, the common sense says, till then, believe that entity does not exists.

Raavan never had 10 heads and Jesus was never re-born. Just man made myths. No one ever healed anyone with just a touch of a hand. A person not belonging to Hinduism and even if he belongs to this religion need not believe in Ram, Raavan or his 10 heads. No death threats will be issued against them.

The head of a family may be son/daughter to the parents, spouse to someone, and parent to some others. Does it mean the person does not exist?
My common sense may say Narendra Modi or Harper do not exist, as I have absolutely nothing to do with them in my normal day to day life. Does it mean they really do not exist?
Came across the lines somewhere that in any relationship, the person who cares less feels stronger. Does this non-belief give a sense of strength. Most likely our own indifference is likely to be reciprocated by NaMo, Harper or God or even the CEO of the company in which we work.
May be the tropical climate of peninsular India is the reason for the Bakti Cult for the last over 1000 years and easier feeling of faith in His existence.
