For argument sake, staying in Toronto could be the strongest decision he has made while keeping his interest to venture around in BC.
Two of my friends who moved on contract to BC moved back to GTA for the lack of social life, is it true? I don't think so. They just returned to their comfort zone.
I too check about BC time to time, considering mild winters but again it's not just just my interest I could base upon...

Nowadays human being is fed with abundant information and opportunities and I personally feel it creates more questionable thoughts. My dad never repent of not going abroad despite the hardship and his friends flying to Far East and Middle East during his time.

Sir, you are finger pointing to me though I don't care. If you really want to know the reasons why I wrote please just search back his questions in last 6-7 years. Though he is saying now that I will be last person to ask question but he has asked many times same questions to me few years ago (his same questions have popped up many times and I ignored to answer). I have tried to help him in the past and he has even asked my phone number.

Yes more awareness raises more opportunities and likely leads to questioning oneself more. Ignorance is bliss.

Btw based on the finger pointing I have seen so many people asking the same questions over and over again regarding immigration .. maybe someone should setup a comprehensive FAQ on this site

You may get some contacts for soccer clubs from above links. I see most of the fields on weekends (typically in spring/summer) people playing soccer and seems to be from some clubs. Cricket is another sport very popular with desi's in summer and there are many clubs for cricket too.

Key is many people asking same question then one person asking same question many times which is also such a general question without any specifics.
