I would not say this is restricted to desi's only. At my place of work, i've heard people communicating in German, Spanish and Chinese all the time. All this when they are fully aware there are people from other backgrounds around too.

Nothing wrong. I have seen many people at work speak their own language and when it comes to communicating with me, they speak english. Inherently everybody loves their country and language

I believe, at work everyone should use common (Work ) language. I personally dont speak other language at work unless we all are desi around.

Is speaking in hindi ok as compared to regional language..

If u dont like someones company it is best to move on rather painting everyone with the same brush..

Stop stereotyping.. this is also a bad habit that we Indians have..
