Accept that u r a Canadian. Just by learning an indian language (for that matter even French is a language) or learning an Indian dance does not make u an Indian. U may disagree and argue. It does not matter at all. U r a Canadian and accept it.

J3D will barge in and drag this to a meaningless discussion. When he does that i will use my "Bharmasutra" for the day to announce it to the forum/ thread

He did it exactly as i had thought.

I think this discussion is meaningless, and this topic has been dealt to death, .. but what the heck
To the OP:
You have listed all the good things about going to India and are asking us why you can't go back. No reason. One can list all the great and not so great things about India as well as Canada, but at the end of the day, it is entirely your choice and depends on your individual circumstances and preferences.
Maybe it's me being skeptical, but are you really a 21 year old kid in your final year at the University?? If you really are, my apologies. Decide what suits you. All the best.
Digression (Sorry, couldn't help it
):
As for 'Indianness', and DIO's comment to MR that she cannot be an Indian, it reminds me of a scene in the movie of Bruce Lee's life. Bruce Lee is in California, and is going to marry a white girl. He talks to the girl's mother who disapproves him for his ethnicity. He tells her that he is an American (he was born in America and hence a citizen by birth), to which she replies 'You may be an American citizen, but you can never be an American'.
There is no straightforward answer to who is an Indian or a Canadian. Is it based on passport? Ethnicity? Country of birth? To many locals, (read whites), I guess we will be 'East Indians' or 'Indo-Canadians', whether it is MR who was born here, or those of us who migrated here recently.
For a group of people who wants to be more in career, job, training, certification, switching companies and they feel that they can do better in India. It's good for them to live there. I know few guys who moved to India from USA just they think 24X7 only career, job and money.
For a group of people the job is part of life but other things are also important like services, clean air, clean water, hiking, biking, river rafting, tennis, hang out, traveling. For them western world is good.

. However, it is related to the 'alien' feeling that Fido described.-----------------------------------------------------------------

I am sure you had similar feelings - Like
Why is it that as a human being I cannot get drinking water and electricity 24 hrs a day.
Why is it that I cannot live in a less polluted environment?
Why is it that our courts and public libraries are not able to deliver what a normal human being is entitled to?
Why is it that like so many other persons in Canada I cannot get a clean life, good money, nice house, good neighbourhood, etc. etc. etc........
And all those feelings made you decide that you should leave your birthplace and migrate to Canada.
YOU WANTED A DIFFERENT LIFE - accept it.
