hello guys,
I remeber few days back I used the word n**** on this site. and everyone just fired on me, but in canadian parliment same word is used without putting any hint (black) to it. and I think that it is the word for a race, like hindu, sikhs..

You are referring to the word Negro.
Here is a definition of the word negro taken from the Merriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary, © 2002 Merriam-Webster, Inc.
Negro
adj : relating to or characteristic of or being a member of the traditional racial division of mankind having brown to black pigmentation and tightly curled hair n : a person with dark skin who comes from Africa (or whose ancestors came from Africa)
I guess this definition would apply to alot of CD members as they are from Africa too, as my own parents are. Or it could refer to all of us as we all (or at least probably alot of CD members) are "brown" in skin colour.

Instead of looking to justify your point, you could have "googled" to see if the word that you used was offensive or not (which it is).
Even the word "Negro" is an offensive word. That word was coined to insult black people. Donot use it again. The best word to use (if at all necessary) would be "Blacks". I hope it is clear to you.

no u didn't get me guys except few of u like "pinky", my point is the word so called "n" refers to a race. and I had already apologied from cd members for using this word, but y there is so much of pain related to this word. when it is used everywhere, i even gave u a link. i think it just describes a race, I never had a black friend, so don't know the reality. and i don't want to ask this from anyone on face, hope u guys understand. (I want my teeths in shape and don't want to get punched from a huge person)
I am from punjab; and we sikhs live there. but I still remember other guys pointing to us as 12'oclock. and it was really a pain, when someone do this without knowing the truth behind it.
so what was the pain associated with word "n". that is what I am upto.........
