First and foremost there is a difference in USA and Canada. USA there is very little social security net and thus all the money in hand. In Canada there is a lot of security net and if you spend wisely and not be an extra vagant then not only you can live comfortably but you can actually save money within $45k.    WHAT WE CANNOT CHANGE, WE HAVE TO LEARN AND LIVE WITH IT. THAT IS WISDOM....: ...rue religion......

Just two days ago a lady 19 years of age swimming in the waters on a beach in teh DUBAI area got carried away into the ocean and the father of the girl fought with the savers and said that he would let her die, rather than get saved by others touching her or carrying her to the sandy dunes. So, how can we evaluate such incidents world wide.? In some countries the conflict is between the Government and the religion. In some other it is between the parties and the followers. So, any study done though might be based upon the available materials to the APA, their publication is worthless to the community at large, because it is done ...

About other GCC: ...(Hi TK) Its not only Dubai or say UAE which is having this trend in inflation growth, (people complaining) its grapping up similarly across GCC, may be as these countries are moving to more liberalized open market economy in compared to what it was following for decades and due to which some level of uncontrolled methods perhaps is leading to this. Among the GCC, mostly people who have lived or experienced the life in more than one GCC country can easily say every member country of GCC has its own merits and de-merits, but bottom line is, it’s not as lucrative as it used to be 3-5 years before in terms of savings and able to spend on lavish or say better life style comapred to in their hom...

...I agree India has its own problems. Being here in Dubai where there is clear cut distinction between locals and outsiders. Then we have discrimination on the basis of nationalities. We have it all here. Looking at this thread i can see its very much there in Canada as well. And we all know its there in India very much. In India we have discrimination on the basis of caste.. then ofcourse on the basis of rich and poor and even in rich its a race of connections. Wh...

Ask Immigration Expert: Help... Delay in Medical Papers
Started by: puttoo on 11 Jul 2005
Further Action........: ...e medical papers from CHC London have arrived. However when I came back in the afternoon, he had a different story to tell. He said even if they get the papers from CHC London they could not issue the visa before next week as some papers were missing. I asked him what was missing. To that he first said that my spouse PCC from Dubai was not sent. I mentioned that I had sent it in February and in any case if it was missing they should have mentioned in the letter dated May 17, 2005. To this, he had no reply & just said that he would call me next week. Now I am willing to wait till next week. But the question is what legal action I can pursue if they reply in negative next week. This dela...
