   driving license: ...hello, just curious as to how the license history helps. i have a dubai license for the past 10 years or so. i also obtained a G1 license at toronto in 2004. if i get an attested copy of my dubai driving license - does that help me get a G2; or do i have to take the test for a G2. secondly, though i landed in 2004, can i drive for 2/3 months on the basis of an international drivers license issued in dubai in 2006 (during its validity, of course)?

   ...Well, I am a person who lived in Dubai for 10 years. I feel That it is a big mistake from my side to come to Canada. I cannot compare Dubai with Canada. Life is much easier and the pay is uncomparable. Personally to my opinion, it is always better to go back to Dubai and live. All my friends who came here has left Canada. some people stayed 5 years, some 3 years, and some only couple of months, and there are people who left after one month. The sooner you leave the smater you are !!!!

The city is getting crowded, Roads are getting jammed, housing spaces are egtting costlier but still their economy is diversified and geared to get better. Also UAE (esp. Dubai) is the only place in the middle east , which is not totally dependant on oil for their economy (Sauid Arabia OTOH is fully dependant on Oil for its economy). Dubai) is the only place in the middle east , which is not totally dependant on oil for their economy (Sauid Arabia OTOH is fully dependant on Oil for its economy).
