Chris, thanks for your comments. Far from it buddy, I don't believe hating things gets you anywhere in life. I'm a firm believer that a bit of hard graft with a smile gets you there in the end.
Like Das said, if you can't embrace things, people etc - how do you expect them to embrace you.
My winning formula has always been that I think and do things different. A bit of a maverick but not a "of the rails" type.
I have no intention of moving to ON as I feel that our community is in a detrimental life circle, it looks like they are willing to live within their own community and this has a negative effect on the native thinkers mind set. I see how this can effect people like Das FX as it gets to a stage that he would be tarred with the same brush. The same happens in the UK, in certain places I walk down the street, some people think imigrant etc. until I open my mouth and speak their picture is broken.
our community is sometimes our own worst enemy. Intermingle, network with the natives. It breaks down misconceptions that people might have of us.
I don't reject our communities values, nor am I a coconut. I beleieve a mind should be open. Sikh means to learn, so learn.
Chris, I wish you luck. In non of your entries do I see you slate Canada, just offer your insight.
Cannuck, your gonna take your hate where ever you go by the looks of it. Soon as you have one bad experience in USA you mind set will develop into one of "everyones racist, have hidden agenda's etc". take time out and look at the positives, and use them as a yard stick rather than the negatives.

But what does this guy care? He started this thread generalizing against white Canadians. Then when some desis protested, he's now doing the same kind of generalizations for desis. He also threw in blacks and virginity in the same equation somehow
And the loser (aka educated doctor
) is making points like you'll never be accepted in Canada, blah blah blah. He thinks in the USA, the cowboys will look at him and say "Now there's an reeeel American". They have a program for people like these in the states, the Americans will straighten him up allright. It'll start with the immigration officer at the border...

No offense DAS_FX but since you claim that newcomers should preef read(deliberately done) their resumes for spelling mistakes etc, you text should be self- edited before you post them , just to set a good example.
