Hi Seniors
Is US IT experiance & references count in Canada.
I see someone saying that you need to gain Canada job experiance & references.
Is it true or it depends on the ones caliber and references.

It all depends on what field you are working on in IT.If they need someone urgently they dont care about US or Canadian experience.But they always prefer Canadian Experience.
Get some friends here to give u the ref and it should be fine

Well, If you have worked in some known companies and your reference is coming from there, I think it definitely adds more value. Mine and my spouse's references came only from US. It was well respected and we both got the jobs here in canada.

Agree.
US experience and education is valued. Plus, it is easily verifiable as well through reliable phone calls, credit checks, background checks, etc. And I speak from experience.
