I don't know what is Garvo's opinion about kids but if you don't have anyone to baby sit... you can bring kids in the meeting. I will talk to my "PADOSI" to allow kids to play there, as our back yards are interconnected and there won't be any disturbance in the meeting as well.

Meeting time is from 3PM to 5PM.

Thanks and regards.

Not a bad idea bringing your kids. After all they are the future canadiandesis.
Biomed hope i can add something here. Letting your "PADOSI" baby sit is a totally voluntary act. Parents will still be responsible for their kids safety.

OOOPS.. did I give the impression that Padosi is gonna babysit the kids ???.. If yes.. I am sorry... I meant he would allow kids to play in his back yard but of course parents would be responsible for their kids.. sounds better ??:D
Thanks and regards.

Biomed I have a question for you: I was wondering if you have any pets at home, because me & my sister are really scared of cats&dogs :D

The $5 entrance fee sounds like a good idea to me. This will encourage people willing to participate to come and also keep the riff-raff out.

Im not sure what happened at the last meeting and if the inclusion of food involved everyone starving for the whole day and then standing in line to eat thus missing the point of the "meeting" ... the reluctance to have food aboard definitely makes it seem like that.

For myself, Im accustomed to gatherings here having food. This doesnt mean they revolve around food. Its preferable to me to have a glass of juice / pop in my hand or nibbling on a cookie. It also sub-consciously gives me 'something to do' in between talking to people. And food is definitely a good icebreaker. I mean quite a few of us on this board have gone to parties where alot of conversations have evolved at the punch bowl.

All Im saying is lets not diss the idea of food right off the bat but just give it some more thought.

If we got either a bottle of pop or one bag of cookies I think that would be cool. And of course it would be on a volunteer basis.

Think about it, is all Im saying.
