Went to see it last night with kids and their friends (we had to chapperone them). I had seen Shrek1, missed out Shrek2. But Shrek3, IMO, is below the first one. there are too many characters such as Cindarella, etc (some fo them weird such as talking trees). First 10-15 minutes was good. Somewhere after that I think the director lost control. Both the donkey and the cat dont have much. The cinema was not packed and at the same time there were very few kids to see the movie. Majority teenagers and adults.

Anyways, we had to sit there to be with the kids we had for the movie. Overall, I am disappointed with 3. I liked the first one.

Pirates 3 isn't getting glowing reivews either. That sucks, I've been really waiting for this one...

I watched pirates of the Caribbean and the theater was full. We went for the late night show at AMC for 12.15, It wasnt jam packed. But the movie was awesome. I liked it.

I recently watched Spiderman 3.
It's not bad, but not as good as #1.

The action sequences were the best among the 3, but it had too many villians, IMHO.
They could have done very well by completely eliminating Sand Man.
