Dont worry about kids ... they will be fine. They'll get adjusted to the place - before you do.

Only thing to take care is of in-take. For first few weeks/months avoid any sort of out side food (not just street but even restaurant). Only home cooked. No cold or dry food item. Have them only warm cooked food. Even avoid milk products outside your home. Not even relatives. I dont know which part of India you are going - but if possible use low fat cow milk to begin with.

Drink lots of liquid. Don't bother about bottled water ... use tap filer or best boil it.

The biggest issue will be the heat and dust. Take care to keep them out of the sun, carry a good brand sun tan lotion. Always keep them hydrated. They might also suffer from diaper rash, as they will be losing a lot of fluids, so the diapers will be heavier at shorter intervals. Carry Aveeno diaper rash cream. It is expensive, but has the best quality and is very effective.

take two or three mosquito repellents with u and drink boiled water

its been a year almost and we still cant adjust to the water here and we boil

it ,mosquitoes have increased three folds atleast in city like mumbai so u can

very well imagine elsewhere,my kids have adjusted quite well dont worry abt

that but take care of hygiene and the heat see to it that u dont give them

outside food for a week atleast and no mithais and get them rotavirus if the doc gives

typhoid is another injection i would recommend speak to ur paed abt this

lots of liquids when u r out with kids carry a stroller with u its allowed in

the airlines and will be useful if ur not used to carrying the kids around

hope this helps
