May 1st is just few days away. I would like to know from participants if some of you can give the ride to the person (s) who do not have a car ( from your neighborhood). It would be a great help to the participants and of course would be a great opportunity to know other desis within your neighborhood too.

If you are interested in sharing the ride please let me know at . When you write the mail please mention the nearest intersection and number of people can be accommodated in your car.

For those who need the ride, contact me at the e.mail mentioned above. Again in your mail please include how many people need the ride and which is the nearest intersection the place you live.

Once I have all information, interested members would be contacted well in advance.

im pretty new here.... this site looks very interesting with loads of comments from every1.. nice to hear that....i read about some meeting in mississauga...wt is it about.. is it just a get together... im in mississauga too... i would like to attend it.. to know more desi;s from here... as i hardly know any1 here.........

A CANADIAN INDIAN

I'll tell you the problem here. With indians they don't tend to mingle with other race rather they tend to open up to their own kind only. This has to change if you want to acceptable in forign country.

I can understand FOB people from India want this meeting so they feel right at home, but the fact of the matter is that when you decided to make the transition to move to canada or america you should know very well that you are making a choice to live amoung whites and not Indians only.

I'll tell you guys what to do. Rather then dressing in indian attire you guys dress up in American or Canadian way and then go out to the mall and mingle with anyone but your own kind Sounds Goooood !! And No Freebies you Indian ... Stop thinking of saving in Lakhs and start living it up guys..


I don't mean to bash others just being open minded. Good Luck you guys, have lots of fun discussing some very important things and don't forget to take the Lunch Break .. Yipppppeeeee
