I never thought a day would come when a match between Bermuda( who that?) and Bangladesh( considered our 'developing' cousins cricket wise) would MAYBE let India move forward in a World Cup!!

How far the mighty powers of Asia(India and Pakistan) have fallen.

I think the team that could not cross 200 runs except against Bermuda does not deserve to move on.

Let us celebrate the talent, spirit and performance of teams that deservedly are moving on.

Sadly that day is here. But then it is just a sport and reality has set in.

And now for the deluge of analysis on TV and gazillion newsprint wasted on this so called disaster.

Well played Sri Lanka for a game well played and for the throughly professional approach.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
