It is a extremely educational book on the state of the world today and the direction in which we are headed .....the book is very well written and keeps the reader glued till the very end.

here is one of the lines from the book

"In China today, Bill Gates is Britney Spears. In America today, Britney Spears is Britney Spears -- and that is our problem."

Friedman remains one of my favorite journalist, i try not to miss his weekly articles.

PP, i agree with you memoirs of geisha was a well written book...havent seen the movie, and dont want to either, coz somehow when u read a book and imagine it...thats how you expect the movie to be...and the movie(s) never seem to meet the expectations!

Have read "the prophet" too, but didnt like it too much...maybe it was too heavy for me.:)

M_R, i have heard that Mukherjee's book is good, have u read the bride by the same author?

how about robert sharma...i think he is the one who wrote "the monk who sold his ferrari" that was a good read too.

The author is actually Robin sharma. This book is great .. I read it very recently.

Haanji, this is the good kitab. I am also meeting the Robin Sharma in Royal Trt Tower downtown. Have copy of "The Monk who sold his ferrari" autographed by this aadmi, also.

That is what apun liking about Toronto. Can get to see many the plenty peoples live, shaking hands and gappa maroing.
Also running into Deepta Mehta in Path and Denzel washington and Bruce Springsteen and oh apun remembering yesterday apun in Sam's The Record man and there, there two song writers- Bachman and Cummings- not the knowing who they are, lakin everybody lining up so apun bhi. Something to do with The Guess Who. Getting autographs of these two on music CD and now selling on ebay.

Chal kuch paisa kamoing- music Ok- not the very good.
