Anyone got any recommendations for a region free DVD player that will play PAL dvds ? Both Radio Shack and Best Buy sell the Philips 642 player for around $99 that will play PAL dvds (and any other format including VCDs, Divx etc) on an NTSC television.
Was wondering if anyone had experience of using that model or any other brand ?

I think DVP 642 is a good model.

You can get cyberhome DVD player (either from Walmart or BEstBuy) which plays all region DVDs and it's ~48CAD
