Fantastic...do u have a film encyclopedia or what?...yes, after the success of Daag, Yash Chopra wanted to repeat the superstar Rajesh Khanna for Deewar. But thankfully, it was Amiitabh who did that role!

Not clear info available about first colour Bollywood movie. Some say it was "Jhaansi Ki Raani", some say it was "Rangeen Zamana". This website lists "Aan" as first colour movie (But I doubt them, as it lists Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje" as first V Shantaram colour movie

I think "Navrang" was not first colour movie from Bollywood, but first colour movie from Rajkamal. When the picture starts, VS himself comes onto screen, and explains about his inspiration to make a colour movie (The accident he suffered during "Do Aankehin Barah Haath"

Meghal, Aan is in fact India's first color movie. I mean it was lavish in those days to shoot in color !..
