Accounting short term courses is it the right thing to do ?

Hi

Having been in Canada, I have seen couple of fliers promoting various courses, CDI college is one of them. I intend to take a short term course on Payroll and Accounting. Am I doing the right thing ?. Are there any better or reputed institutions/courses around than CDI

Though as a long term plan I am working on the CGA, wondering these short term courses are of any help to jump start my career ?

Any suggestions please

If you are doing CGA, that is good enough. These short term courses are money grab and won't help in career jump.
