An old debate.. a newer study. Of course, any study is susceptible to variables and not offer the definitive conclusion to any issue. However, I just want to post this to support my views that a gay couple is no better or worse parent than a straight couple. There are good parents and bad ones and most of us fit into both categories one time or the other .

For the newer folks, please take a few minutes to read some of the arguments already posted so that we do not run the risk of repeating old ones (which are already dealt with) .

Just to let you all know, amongst our community(apart from my wife) I have met only a couple of others (who also happen to be a couple), with the same views as me on the issue. I know we are amongst the minority

Well either way two people of the same gender are still going to live together whether you object about gay marriage or not What difference does it make then.
As long as they live in peace and leave the rest in peace there is no harm.
How many Indian men and women have been forced in India due to peer pressure to marry in spite of them being gay. The parents may know it but will not admit it and the kids marry out of respect and what society may say.

Come on guys just because India is overflowing with people does not mean that every man is hetro. I think people are born that way. It has something to do with the chromosomes.
Ask yourself. What if your child was gay. Would you love him less?
A child may not know from you but it will in school. So let nature take its course.
The media is doing more than enough for your child to learn about gays if you are too embarrassed to teach them. In fact they may know more that the parents actually anticipate.
We might as well accept it while we are in Canada and in changing times. It is not going to change the clock in anyway.
