Any latest news from cpc M.
Finally I got the email from Ottawa pilot project that its ready for visa and CIC website says decision has been made on your file.
So now they have asked for the passport.
So happy finally the wait is over now....
I applied in Dec 2009
They asked for additional documents in August 2013, Submitted in Oct 2013. Our file was transferred to Pilot project Ottawa in Dec 2013. They requested Medical in May 2014. Medcial was done in June 2014 and now they requested the passport and decision has been made.

All of this is slow process. Thank you for waiting this long for a response from me.
Generally you contact the people who wrote to you. Their location is on top of the letter received. The Name of the Officer will also be there. Usually they will provide you with a file number to refer back to/with. So, do it correctly. Also send it to them and retain a copy of any materials sent. If i were you, I will use Xpress post or speed post.
The normal questions are : Which province are they heading to. Do, they know anything about it. Do they know where you live and their street name and the door number and a Phone to contact where you live. Some times they will also ask where you both work and the Company's Name, rank and file and what it is that you both do. Also it is good to know where they will be flying to. (The Air Port, and if there is a route that they will take, also the stop overs) How to get hold of you both from the airport. (Any Airport, in the current day scenario.)Are they knowledgeable enough to get by, speak the local language fluently and express themselves or do they need a translator.
Anyone who has traveled before and done that might not even get an interview.

I applied for for parents sponsorship May2010 got letter confirming my eligibility December 2013
Parents got a letter Janauary 2014 stating file transefered to Delhi.from then on we got nothing.
I am starting to worry now.:-(

Just an update on my case.so...since so since my dad got an email in Jan of 2014 that the file has been transferred to Delhi we heard nothing...so I sent an email out 2014 enquiring we recv a std reply stating your case is in the Q...however in 5 days my dad recv an emai requesting all documents to be sent to them once again and also another email with medical request form.Now my problem is my brother is now in New Zealand....I was just wondering if he can do his medicals in New Zealand and my parents can do in India?...can anyone shed some light on this...please and thank you

The first question that pops into my mind is...: Why is your Brother in New Zealand. The next one is.. Did you sponsor him too, if so under what category. Was he below the age of 18 then? You can sponsor your Parents, but not your Brother or your Sister, if they are over the age of 18. In the Medical request with the forms, are there forms enclosed specifically for his Medical too. If so, he is eligible to have his medical done, if he is STUDYING in NZ? But it is your duty to write to the Canadian High Commission there in New Delhi and get an O.K. from them and also ask them for a Doctor's name and address close to where he is studying.
Now, get all of the documents that you have to submit for your Parents Upto date, such as Police Clearance and other financial matters and as soon as you get them ready, submit the same through the courier to them (Please take a second look at the Document check list for the list of documents that need to be submitted and what you had submitted to them previously.)

can you please tell me when my parents go to medicals will they be given anything in return to send it back in the application with updated documents?
The problem is the deadline to send all the updated documents is Jan 9th,2015 and my brother got a medical exam on Jan 5th,2015.so
I have asked my parents to send off all the documents with pcc etc first. However my dad says that after medical was done they have a completed form(which was given to my parents (India)and they have to include in the updated document set. Is this this true? Because if I have to wait until my brothers medical is done(New Zealand)we cannot send the documents before the deadline :-(Please help!!!!
