My mother got her medical request in May 2005 medical done on July 1... today got another letter saying the interview is scheduled for November 28th...
Anyone who is going through the same timeline please share...
My brother was included in the application as a dependant but after he got married last year we requested to take him off the application...
Can this effect my mother's application??

Why they requried to have interview for mother? My understanding was generally they give parent visa without interviwing them.

is it possible, still your brother is in the file?

I don't think so if you have taken out your brother from the file can effect your mother application. Definatly, It will not.

No further news so far....however we found thru MP's off that the interview is waived and we are yet waiting for the letter from CH N Delhi for visa stamping.

By the way, does anyone know if Inidan Immigration officers at airports, are asking for Income Tax Clearance certificate while parents are leaving for Canada ?

anyone's reply is welcome regarding this matter as well.

Income Tax Clearance requirements for people leaving the country has been abolished since last two years.

Q- How long does your MP took to answer you.? My situation is same, my mother medical was completed in June and PCC sent in first week of July. Since then I did not hear anything. I wrote to CHC for the status but still to hear from them.

thanks for your reply.

MP's off took two weeks to reply and that too due to long weekend, otherwise they get back in abt week's time. The person in charge at MP's off also told me that CHC N Delhi is looking for fresh PCC and a form describing height. eye colour, and also latest photographs and passport for VISA stamping ???????

We did recv a letter asking us to send all forms to update their records together with other stuff such as photographs, fresh PCC etc, but they never asked us to send passport.

I told him that we already sent these things except passport on Juy 21st via courier. Also did tell him that I have trck # that shows parcel delivered to CHC N Delhi on Jul 22nd, signed by ANIL. He is again going to check with CHC and told me that may be CHC has not yet updated the info in their computer system ????????????

Anyways this person is very nice and is genuinely trying to help me. Hopefully by next Thursday, he will get back to me with other details as to when are we supposed to send the pasport for visa stamping.

Thanks, I will contact my MP on Monday. I have sent all the papers on July 8, 2005 that included fresh forms, two photographs, pcc and height color and other couple of forms.
