Finally got the medical for my parents and they did the medical in new delhi.

We chose to go to Malkit Law for the medical as suggested by many friends but the worst experience ever. Office staff and nurses ok but the doctor herself was so so mean. The rudest doctor ever on this planet. She acts as if entire decision is on her and she can make it or break it. Have no respect for elderly. Called my dad deaf person.

I am feeling so sorry for suggesting my parents to go to that doctor.

Please if you care for you parents self respect don't use that doctor.

I am definately going to report.

This doctor should not be in the panel.

Congrats Neet!

So since your file got transferred,when exactly did you get the request for medicals?Because my parents file got transferred Dec 31st,2013 and they got an email from CIC Delhi Jan 27th,2014 and nothing ever since. We are growing anxious. Anyone who can please, please give me an idea?

Hi All,
I submitted Parents sponsorship file in Nov 2009. I am in Ontario. In March 2014, i got letter that file is approved and will be transferred to New Delhi. My parents are in India and they haven't received any confirmation for the file transfer to New Delhi. Can someone help me please with the next steps. How long is the wait for the next step and what will be the next step.

Generally by this time your Parents should have heard from the CIC offices in INDIA. If not wait till the end of the month. On 1st of August 2014, please contact them there in India. To process, they will have a file number. Please quote that number in all your correspondence with them.

They normally do a police check, and it gets done for all and it is done by an independent source. Some times it takes a little bit longer. After that they will be asked to undergo their medical examinations. The rest follows and there may be an interview too. So, prepare them well for that.

Thank you very much for your help. In order to contact CIC in Delhi, should i send paper mail or email? And also as you said they can get Interview call as well, what kind of questions should i get my parents prepared for? Thank you once again.

Our file was transferred to ottawa pilot project in December 2013 and I heard from them in May 2014 for the medical. Now again waiting for the results.
