TV for $40? that is pretty good price considering indian channels. What all channels do you get and what all discounts did you get?

Hope it's helpful. Thus over all i pay Phone $30+ Internet 8MbPS $38+ TV $40 (with different discounts) = 108+taxes
Cheers,

Thanks, yes I am in ON. I checked with Bell and they quoted me really high price for Basic plus + 4 receivers (90+tax). Please share how to get these discounts.

Because they know that you are going to share receivers with friends. People made Bell smarter, I believe :p

Do not go to Bell directly, check with their resellers, you will get a better price.

Basically, I have the basic channels which has a lot of free sd as well as HD channels, and I have some Indian combos like Sony, ATN, CBN and B4U. I have bought my own receiver (they go on sale regularly) and I use to have Bell cellphone so i get bundle discount as well as if you call them to 'Cancel' it will take you to 'retention' department and you can express it's too expensive for you and then they may offer you $10 discount then you keep negotiating and you will receive some reasonable discount for 1 year or so.... And to add i just have 1 receiver and have hooked up 1TV only.
Good luck,
~K

Placed an order with Bell for all 3 services, 78$ including all taxes for the first year. Hope there are no billing issues, will have to look out for that.

Internet - 6M, 65GB cap - no contract
TV - Basic + 20 HD channels+ 4 receivers (will get to own one for free) - 2 year contract
Home phone - 3 features. - no contract

One of the reasons to go with bell is I will have to deal with one company for any issues. Customer service sucks in Canada and hence I wanted to limit this; instead of having to talk to 3 different companies.

Thanks everyone for your contribution to this thread and helping me make my decision!

Note - got this thru a dealer!
