Folks ,
I know starting threads on members is discouraged on CD but I wish TK is an exception based on his time and effort spent on CD ..... As I learnt that he s leaving very shortly for good and that we would have less of his posts on CD , I could not resist starting this thread .
For the past 5 years plus , we have seen TK emerge as perhaps the most popular contributor on Canadian Desi . His popularity is based on his frankness , approach to simplicity and putting his thoughts lucidly into words .... thoughts that other people would think twice or thrice before airing to avoid criticism ...
I have in particularly appreciated his penchant in asking all the simple and you -should - have - known -this things and valuing CD members opinion whereas giving his own at every needed juncture ....
He has his admirers and critics ... There s a brigade of members who don't seem to understand / digest him and there are others including yours truly who stand by him ...... I have rarely seen him being impolite despite being provoked .
Its been a long ride ............ almost 3000 posts and almost all of them keyed in with the same sincerity ....... so what if he has discussed very basic things , so what if he has criticized things , so what if he has been frugal .......... he has been honest !!
Folks , it takes a lot of time in keying posts on CD and its a passion we derive from what we get on CD from others' contribution making us contribute all the more ....... With almost 3000 posts , Tamilkuravan stands right on the top .... as much as he does for his popularity ...
I am sure for those who have known him on CD will join me in wishing him the very best of luck in his endeavors .............. such people do not come on CD often and their leaving would be a loss to Canadian Desi ...... The least we can do is bid him a farewell ....

Due to increased security procedures, I am unable to release more information, including the country where I am moving. But I will be more than happy to send personal replies to those who need further information.
My postings on CD will stop on March 22/2011. However, I will be seeing CD regularly when time permits to see how canada is evolving / Maturing. Hopefully in 10 years, Canada can give assured employment to each immigrant that it takes in (only for people who comes under skilled catagory in points system and in non-IT field)

We will definitely miss your posts in the forum.
I have enjoyed his posts quite a bit and now and then picked up some important bits of info, particularly during my early months in Canada. I hope he would succeed wherever he goes; I am sure he will... Afterall, he is a workaholic. And I certainly hope he will pop up here with a post or two, once he settles in his new place. Good luck.
