The law was made for instance for a PR holder working for IBM canada and got posted overseas for some duration which would prevent him from meeting his residency obligations..
U do realize that a Son owning the business and hiring his father a PR holder will look shady at best..
the business u are looking to buy better be a company that has over 10-15 local employees..

I agree with what you have mentioned. I am exploring to buy a running business in Canada as a business investment not just for the sole purpose of immigration.
My next concern would be whether different business activities would qualify for this approach.
I would appreciate if someone can recommend a lawyer for this approach.
