Hi CD's
We all know that to maintain PR one has to live in Canada for 2 yrs out of every 5 yrs. That is the theory.
However I would like to seek your views/opinions on how these requirements are practically applied. How many have you have been actually asked by Canadian Immigration officer at point of entry (land or air) if you have ment the PR reqts ? Has anyone encountered any rigorous questioning on this ?
I would also liek to hear from thoise who entered Canada without any issue even though they technically didnt meet 2 in 5 yr reqt.
Thanks
Hi there,
It all depend upon the entry and exit stamps on thepassport, if they will find too many stamps they might ask you about them. So be prepared to answer about the entry and exit stamps on your apssports at the entry point.
Good luck!!
