beaches close to GTA

Does anyone know of any good place like a beach or picnic spot close to GTA...??

We would like to go somewhere for this long weekend....

Any ideas???

There is Jack Darling in Mississauga and North Shore in Burlington.
Toronto also have few.

Pls see below .. I had compiled this list from earlier threads and different posters . I had been to all these places they are beautiful.

Picnic Spots
1. Rattlesnake point near Milton. Beautiful hiking trails and excellent scenery off the cliffs.
2. Darlington National Park, it's by the beach, in a quiet area, with a lot of natural surroundings, close to Oshawa.

3. Sibbald Point, again by the beach, N on Markham Road.

4. Kelso Glen. Its off the 401, close to Milton. The park has small lake with a sandy beach. They also rent out Kayaks, canoes and paddleboats. Other than that, there's some hiking you can do to get to some spectacular scenic points.

5. Go to Bluffers Park : go with some charcoal to get warm ur dishes, BBQ stands are installed there, u can bring ur own too.
Its very beautiful and huge waterfront family park

try bluffers park, it has very nice and quite beach too.

Are these are different places ? Bluffer's Park & Scarborough Bluffs ?

I see on map they are different places withing short distance.

both are same,. but beach are at the left side of park, across the yatching club.
its clean and quite.
