Any experiences for a days visit to Wasaga Beach.

It is nice when is hot like Temp. 30 +, otherwise you can not enter in water as too cold. I went couple of time with my friends and family and we enjoyed.....

Have a nice time when is hot..........

We visited Wasaga in July 2006 and just loved it
We stayed one night there ...you can visit with your friends and do BBQ also at night

I like Sauble Beach better, you can park your car right on the beach so no need to carry the stuff from parking lot to the beach. And this beach is very neat and clean with clear water if you compare with Wasaga Beach.

I went to Wasaga once ... liked it but will not go again. Not my kind. Its more of a commercial centre now.

There are other better water fronts out there in ontario around GTA (2 hrs driving).

Hi RESP,

Even i heard about Sauble Beach and hope this time we will visit there. One question how is facilities there like food, rent some stuff for play in water, etc...etc... B'cos i know at Wasaga beach you can get this kind of items on rent. Is it same like wasaga beach like some shops around etcc......let me know your feed back will help me a lot to organize my trip..

Well when it comes to commercial establishments and facilities ,I would say Sauble Beach is equally good, although if you want to stay overnight than I would suggest to get the hotel lil away from the beach as hotels near the beach are expensive and poorly maintained.
