Thanks for the tip BP ..Will surely do .
We visited Jack Darling Park Saturday and were astounded to find parking at closer lots full even at noon. There must have been a 1000 visitors all day long ... Lots and lots of families were having food , playing and having fun.
I would recommend it - for kids there are play areas as well as a splash pad ... The beach was good and despite the first layer of rounded rocks the first 2 feet , it is sandy ahead and @ 30 degrees , the water was pleasant for a swim.
The only down side was that the wash rooms can be more frequently maintained with so many visitors .
I would rate this at par or slightly below Bluffers Park for the better beach @ Bluffers.
Any other experiences at nearby water areas .. welcome ..Please share here .

Have anybody gone for grand river rafting near Paris (Ontario) ? It was extreme fun , we went in a big group. Doable for Kids and parents as well. In most of the Grand river you can walk through and through and the raft is easy to maneuver. In case of a big group you can even compete for an extra thrill !! Each raft can accommodate 6-8 people.
That place is tailor made for 'Indians' of all ages.
