Hi,
As informed by their staff about working on monday, I went there in the afternoon to see they are closed, with a notice on their door.
I guess they were unsure themselves about their working schedules as they are with all other stuff.
This OCI business has been full of frustating experiences one after the another

I think we should make a representation to the CGI-Ottawa/Toronto regarding the poor service of VFS which does not justify the payment of $20.00 - which we are made to pay without our consent. If the purpose to introduce VFS was to make the process easier and professional, the objective has not been achieved and only added to our costs.

You have to experience it at the Consulate office it is still more frustrating, somethings just does not change with places, this is one of them I guess.

One more thing...
The day I went to pick up the originals, there were at least 4 people who were picking up the OCI cards that reported spelling error in their visas. They had to return the docs right there to get it fixed.

Can you update the date documents were dispatched to Toronto and made available at Toronto? I was told I had to have those dates show up on the website and I had to print and take a copy of that tracking to VFS before they will accept the passports for OCI stamping. Thanks.
Mine is still under process and dragging along 48 days since date of acknowledgement.
BTW, can others who might be applying for OCI post the timeline? I am sure there are more. Thanks.

Hi Dimple,
I submitted my passport yesterday, however they are not acknowledging any preprinted receipt acknowledging the receipt of our canadian passport, they took away the original receipt they issued when the PP was returned to us the 1st time after OCI processing,
All this is not professional , I am now waiting for the final visit to pick up OCI , 5-7 business days after submitting the PP again.
Documents received at TO shall be updated on the website, which shall be anytime in your case.
Post your developments as and when it materialises.
