Please be advised that all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. We are currently conducting certain background investigations and as these are conducted by outside agencies, the time taken to conclude the checks is a factor which is outside our control. At this point there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed, the next step in the processing of your application will be determined.

My Wife has not still received her Passport request letter and ecas shows as We are processing your PR application as on 29 Aug.



So I am planning to send a mail to delhi and may i to which email id you had send and what are details we need to mention.

Hi Transit,
Even i got the same message from the officials.Here is the latest updatefrom my side...i went and met MP....Infact i could get an appointment with MP personal secretary.....they have taken all details of my my case.Today i got a call from MP pers.secretary saying that the case was transferred for background checks and the back ground check process cant be expedited at this stage.She also informed me that she got this information after enquiring CHC-NEWDELHI.So i dont think so it would make any difference if one contacts the MP after the case has been transferred for further background checks to external agencies.
