Forget the bigotry.Don't let it bog you down. Rise above it. Move on.
The type of individuals that come to the forum likely don't want to rise above any (perceived) bigotry. Its usually a good excuse to justify one's failures.

Check for pervert's database here http://www.perverted-justice.com
There is a library in an area highly populated by South Asians and from which area 3 of the MPs are South Asians( I am sure that many of you know which area I am referring to) that has banned access to a site due to its "controversial content". It seems that content from that site led to an altercation between two individuals of the same subcontinent but from 2 different religious backgrounds and finally developed into fisticuffs. It seems that police had to be called in as well.
A South Asian lady working in the library told me how pathetic it was to see that when immigrants from "our home" come to a new country they still bring with them their age old differences instead of getting a fresh start here. She herself said "we have no right to complain about discrimination if we have it back home".
Just thought I'd put that here. Bigotry is alive and well all over the world.
I am sure it exists in Rumania, Lebanon, China...wherever.
Here's another reason I thought I'd put that story here .Anybody wants to guess what site it is that has been denied access? Here's a hint - it has over 20,000 members, almost reaching 25,000.
Dear Red Baron,
Can you share more details on the location of this library?.
Just because of 2 guys, the rest cannot lose out on this wonderful site of CD!.
Are we in China or India ?. We are in Canada !.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"

A few yrs ago I saw an interview(20/20) of a black media exec on TV. This guy used to be homeless(he could not pay his rent ...was kicked out by his landlord) so he used to sleep under his desk @ a brokerage firm. He has just one client...an overtly racist white southern(?) millionaire. He used to trade for the millionaire and laugh at his blatantly racist jokes. .......
Shankaracharya,
Somewhere in the Greater Toronto Area
If you don't mind can you share more about where you are located in Canada?
I'm holed up in one of the corners of Mississauga (if New Jersey is called an Indian Ghetto than I would qualify to be living in one here).
