I was happy to find out that so many gujjus are in Canada and CD.

A quick introduction. I was born and brought up in Bilimora and later moved to Mumbai (for Job) and finally to US on H1b.

I am married and have a 2.5 yrs old daughter. I have been doing good in US but decided that I am better off without a US Green Card (in the hope that I will have one for Canada very soon, and which is equally good).

In the meanwhile I got an opportunity from my company to work in Canada and extend / expand their services over there. As I speak, my workpermit is in process and most probably I will be joining my Canada office in a month or so.

If things go well over there, I plan to make Canada my home (although I will be coming there on work permit, hopefully I will get my PR very soon - AOR March 2002 !!).

In a bid to make this migration pleasant (more for my family than me. you know how we gujju's have been brought up....),I want to ensure that we have a decent social group to talk to and also get some advise from time to time, to help us settle smooth and fast.

So let me know more about you guys and hopefully we gel enough to make our life a little more happy.

also, someone mentioned why only gujju? answer is, any body is welcome as long as he or she can bear a gujju
