Only one child can sponsor at a time. Even if one of you sponsors, the income will count for as many people sponsorable [i.e. mum, dad & any dependent child(ren)]. You cannot split the family size by sponsoring only the number of people for whom you have the met the income requirement.
Between you & your brother, the family that meets the income requirement should sponsor. Please note: Insufficient income does not mean you CANNOT sponsor.
You can still sponsor but the application will definitely be refused by the embassy processing your parents' application. You will have the right to appeal. I can advise you what your chances are to succeed on appeal [for free, of course].

As for the attitude and the short exchange between you, my friends Chandresh & Garvo, they are right. It helps me tremendously when the title is to the point and and the question(s) posed in short point form. It's easier for me to prioritize and respond in a timely fashion. You must have noticed that I no longer respond everyday/every hour. It's because of some people's attitude that I 'owe' them an instant reply [not you actually]. I have a family to feed, a mortgage payment to keep and many many paying clients who are my number one priority. There are many people who ask 'lazy' questions without searching this database for answers.
After so many years, I am still devoted to helping. Many so-called experts have come and gone. I try to access this site and reply from around the world and where possible using my blackberry [paying international roaming charges]. All I ask is a little consideration for my time.
You will also note that I'm quite comfortable ignoring irrelevant questions.
Finally, I want to remind everyone that I don't do this to attract clients. Over the years, I've only had two clients via CanadianDesi and this site is prospering now. Just look at the advertisements peppered all over.
My commitment is still very much alive.
