After a long struggle in canada and doing menial jobs for about 3 years ...thinking one day i will get a job not of my choice but some thing related to my field.

I then decided to do some backward integration and started applying from here in other countries in Asia.

Finally I was given an opportunity by my old employer as he knew the scene in canada with almost comfortable salary.

He appreciated my Hardwork which i had done during my stay earlier and he welcomed me again..well may be people say that never look back but i would definately say " Always look back, may be somebody need you"

My analysis...

Canada is not of educated personnels...
If u want to settle in canada you sacrifice lots of things in life not for short period but for more than 5 years...(most case)

To my surprise while i was going back in same flight i found 2 more couples going back permenantly ...

I would not be often writing this to all as i may have limited access to internet due to busy schedule in my new professional position.

I would say ALL THE BEST for those who are there and SAYONARA ..GOOD BYE ALL...

If given chance in future ( if i get a job in my field) i will think of returning but not for Menial jobs any more....

Thanks god!!! I am out of it finally!!!

I agree with you. My opinion is the same, Canada offers least to foreign educated professionals. The less you are educated / qualified, the better oppurtunities Canada has for you! But then, how would you qualify under the immigration points system!;) ;) ;)
The five year rule also matches with my opinion. A sacrifice of a period something in that range and a local education is probably a must for most of the incoming immigrants to get a decent, non labour, non entry level job...........

Good Luck back home! I wish you the best.

Good Luck.
Coming here is not easy interms of money and time spent.
Going back is even harder for various other reasons.
Brave decision.

Odd, a person who insinuates that he is more educated than everyone else here in Canada, can't get basic grammar right.

.....and obviously can't make the right choice of words either. 'Backward integration' - in the context of searching for employment?

You might have the skills, but poor communication, in all likelihood, prevents you from being able to put that across to a potential employer.

Goodbye and good riddance. People like you contribute to the negative stereotypes of South Asians in the western world.

Shouldnt you be applauding him, at least now?

You have said in the past that if people dont like it here they can leave.

He left.

Crenshaw,
If you are in selection board of a technical job interview. Who would be your choice strictly from A or B:
A) A person with excellent knowledge of english language but ordinary technical knowledge
B) A person at comfortable level of english language and excellent technical knowledge with related experience from some othe country
