Dear Sir,
I have parked my car in the parking spot of the building where I live. Somebody badly damaged my car during night time. I don't who did this. I saw this on another day morning. I reported this to police station and police told me that unless and until I have an information for the person who did this, they can't do anything. I contacted insurance company. They said I don't have hit and run insurance coverage. Could you please guide me, what should I do to get the help for this. I asked my building management services to take actions, however, they didn't do anything. I was told by my management services that they would provide me the indoor parking but they didn't do the same. Please guide me what should I do and how should I go ahead because the expense for repairing of my car is going to be about $3500.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Sincerely yours,
Vimal Patel

You may be SOL on this.
If you had "un-insured motorist" coverage on your insurance policy, then you could have filed an insurance claim.
Without that, the insurance company will do nothing for you.
I think the insurance company is supposed to advice you against dropping the un-insured motorist coverage from a policy - did they not explain this to you?
The building management has no liability in this case.
Honestly, I don't see any option other than to eat the cost this time and get the insurance coverage for future.
