He would have come in before a long time when no IELTS was required to be given or maybe on marriage/family grounds. I know of a lot of people in Canada & US who inspite of staying here for many years do not know how to speak English.

We are laughing at him, but who knows this guy maybe making more money than what we do.

I know of a person in US who has been there for more than 25 years & yet does not know English beyond "thank you", "sorry", "ya" & "no". He runs a motel & he does not have to sit at the front desk.

Infact I even know one of my friend's brother who was sponsored by his uncle, had taken the help of interpreter for his immigration interview & was cleared & is in Canada.

Let's make India a better place !

Job is different category here but if we are thinking just in terms of making money definately speaking fluent English doesn't have to do anything.

I have seen lot of people in US as well as in Canada, they were here before the Immigration of Canada started to have IELTS/ TOEFL & because they didn't have any English speaking skills they turned to business & today they are successful businessmen with lot of money & no English.

On the other hand we with our so called 'English Language Skills' go to find jobs & are satisfied with whatever we get (?) & laugh at others for not having good english speaking skills.

Also we should not forget that there is 'business category' too, for immigration, if you show you have enough money to start a business in Canada, they don't even interview you. when we came, 10 years back, it was $100,000, don't know about now.

Also why we really care about English so much why do we laugh at our Indian brothers for having accents? Have anybody heart Chinese speaking English? Even Phillipino, chinese professionals have terrible accents.

The other important thing is these 'Angrez speaking people' will not last a day in other countries, they don't even know any other language than English. so we should be proud that we came here, we learnt their language & are surviving their system

I think I will forget my english (a little bit which I know) if I read that advertisement again and again. But if he (mukesh) is fluent in english then I have just started learning A B C D............. I guess he was a truck driver back home. but surely he was making a good amount of money, charging more then others especially from desis.

Please don't make fun of someone's English, especially not for classifieds where someone is trying to make a living. Good English may have nothing to do with the service/product provided, please let interested parties be the judge of whether they would like to contact the poster or not.
