I would like to know that how much score is needed for Ontario in IELTS for EE, if a person is 40 years of age with Bachelor degree and 18+ years experience. Does IELTS higher score such as 8 band or so effect the entry chances??
People who have EE as qualification generally carry an IELTS Score of 6.5. That is based on the Educational Requirements for their entry into a COURSE.
For Immigration Purposes if you have an IELTS 6.0 Band, then it will get you an entry, if other points you score are sufficient for your entry. Please do remember that an age of 40 is a the Maximum that they will consider for an entry, and hence it has become a cut off age. So, if you have an IELTS Band of 8 you stand to score over the others who are well below your level of 8.0 So, enjoy the higher score you have made in the EXAM.
More on it if you want to explore the same at a later date. The systems that we use are designed and graded well and makes our selecting an Immigrant an easy chore.
FH.
CLB 7 equals IELTS 6.0.

EE stands for Electrical/Electronic Engineering. I am sure O.P. can chime in to tell us all about it. With 18 years under the belt surely has done his spade work and also paid his dues to it.
If he is seeking a new venue and a better future I will surely say go ahead and do it. You will succeed in your next venture here in Canada. If you are smart enough you will get the equivalency first and look for a good opening and get a starting salary of $60,000 or more. Look for a job posting into the Government Bank and see where he can head. He has a good 25 year span to complete and pension off.
When I know that the whole world will turn Electrical and Electronic in the next 10 years or sooner, There is no dearth of opportunities in this field as it expands.
So, Go for it and carve a NICHE in that universe.
Good Luck.

Please get the details of address and wealth of Full House before you arrive here. Once you are here and are unable to find any meaning in your EE experience, you can locate Full House and demand that he top off your earnings to bring it up to 60,000 dollars a year. More likely, you will make bare minimum and be half cold, wet and hungry. Once you find yourself in that situation, besides hunting down Full House, you also need to contact TamilKuravan who can guide you on how to survive in Ontario.
The best solution however, is for you to stay in India and explore how you can start a small business as independent electrical or electronics repair etc... India being as big as it is and developing as fast it is, you may find more work than you have time for.
Once you arrive here and quickly turn to survival jobs, your main objective will be to find food and shelter so you won't starve. Now just sit for a few minutes and think about all those destitute (beggars) in India and wonder how they survive. Conversely, if you bring about 2 crores in rupees, you can protect yourself till you find some meaningful job. But then again, if serving at the feet of your erstwhile white masters is not your goal, you can deposit those two crores in banks in India and live a fancy life, while working for fun!!
