FYI- A few days ago I went to http://www.thestar.com" rel="nofollow">LINK , clicked on the columnists icon on the left hand side of the main page and under GTA clicked on Rosie Dimanno. In the repertoire there was the article I reproduced on this thread. However, today, the article has been removed from the archives. There are articles from July 1, 3, 4, 5,6 but the July 2 article has been obliterated.
Interesting and intriguing. Was there a lot of pressure from certain groups to remove the article and The Star buckled? However, if one clicks on the link on the thread the article still pops up. I wonder what’s up.

Address the main issue, look into your mirrior, and talk to the person you see - is the problem.
Don't quote non - Hindus as to blind issue & problems in our Hindu Culture and community in Canada.
Let us adimt - address our problems and correct them to avoid others continue negative criticism of Hindus , in order to justify us to defend ourself. To be a better examples to the others.
Let us better our UNITY in the community and be a strong one Hindu community, by removing the thorns in our path way.

Connect with the real world today and in the future, and correct the past mess to better the coming genarations. One can begin with yourself, your family and your own kids.........

inspite of your facade...i think your real agenda shows itself when you keep talking about hindu this and hindu that. Just like the christian right talks about christian this and christian that. If you are ready to drop that a lot of us are with you. lets talk about India and Indians or Canada and canadians instead of religion as the central theme. Keep that between you and your god.

FYI- I spoke to certain staff at The Star yesterday and they told me that Rosie Dimanno's article was removed from the on-line archives due to pressure from certain groups. Whether the groups were Hindu or not was not stipulated.
Old-timers there told me that it wasn't the first time such a thing has ocurred. Certain factions have even pressurized the paper to remove anti-semitic articles and comments in the past.
So much for freedom of the press in Toronto.
