Well, the qualities listed in aforesaid article makes Shashi a most winnable candidate. One common denominator for a winning candiadte is aggressive anti-hindu stand. Look out for Lallu, Madmohan, Sonia, Paswan, Mullayamsingh, Mayawati and YSR

Who is Rajeev Srinivasan? What are his credentials? Does he really know Mr. Tharoor personally? Somehow his column sounds more like a rant rather than well organised and coherent statements

Why is Mallika labelled as rebel without cause?
I think the problem with Hinduism is that we are unable to unite as a big group because of so many sub sections/factions/class/caste & subcastes/"panths". Caste system had its roots in noble cause but it has become a hurdle in India's progress.
And absence of unity is not a new thing. History has proved that foreign rulers have been able to rule India just because of lack of unity.

I wouldn't call it an "anti-hindu" stand. Do you know the demographic breakdown of their constituencies?
