Dear CD’S

How many people are really happy that they have immigrated to Canada? Ok after immigrated are you happy that you’ve taken a right decision? Lots of desis want to move to the south (USA) after getting their Canadian passport. If anyone has done that are you happy that you’ve moved to USA? Hope this will give a better understanding what you really want.

I can see you're in USA. You've seen both side and what is that makes USA better than Canada?

Okay first thing... you can go to the "Study" part of this forum and learn abt my stay in Canada...

As for the USA...well its different in some sense, but not so much. For instance, ppl have a distinct culture here...something called "American" ( I am in the mid-west..so you can understand why this is predominant)..The only place in Canada where you can find such a deep routed sense of culture is Quebec !

Secondly, there is no GST ... phew ! but at the same time..there is nothing called OHIP..and you will get screwed up here if you dont have health insurance...Even now, with a University sponsored health insurance, I have to pay to go and visit the doctor !...(though its nominal)...

Other than that, being in an academic institution, I cannot tell much difference between a canadian lifestyle and an American lifestyle...
