Just out of curiousity, how do you feel about inter-racial marriages? Do feel that they should be discouraged? Many of my friends at school feel that people of two different cultures should not get married because it creates a great deal of conflict. They feel that cross-cultural marriages occur, you eliminate two cultures a create a different. Personally, I'm fine with inter-racial marriages. I know many people who's parents are of different backgrounds, and are truly happy. There is one student who mother is Chinese, and her father is Tamil. In Canada, the number inter-racial couples is growing, and now I see it more often between South Asians and Caucasians. I'm very interested in seeing your views on inter-racial couples.

Inter-racial Marriages should be encouraged, In todays world marriages are not made in heaven but made by a man and a woman who love each other, it all depends on the Individuals way of perception , Especially in a country like Canada which is Land of Immigrants and Different races.
There is always an apprehension about such relationships.....However things always turn ugly when you are related to a certain community????
