I am also living in Dubai right now. Already got the visas and will be migrating next year. I live on Dubai/Sharjah highway Al Nahda area. Right now it is a hot property area in Sharjah.

Anyways I am worried about the way people are talking about canada. After living in Dubai for more that 5 years I don't know whether I will settle down there or not. Just wanted to know from you guys as to how is the Job market for an Accountant having Gulf Experience of more that a 5 yrs.

I have come to Toronto recently. Here in toronto, Life is slower than in Dubai. So those who enjoy that will surely like this.

I am also curious to know more about the health system in Toronto. Even though Canadian goverment say it is free, I understand there is a lot of limitations.

People who get sick say that, you should be lucky to survive. is that true???

I am currently in dubai. Here also rents have gone up like anything. 2bHK 45k,
1 bhk 30 minimum. Traffic has gone up like all people in the world has come on dubai roads.

I travel everyday from sharjah to jebel ali and it takes me 2.5 hrs in the morning and 2.5 / 3 hrs in the evening.


Like has also very tough hear.

Lets see what awaits for me when i land there.

I totally agree with u Samad, and the rents you mentioning is in Sharjah area , we live in Deira and we paying almost 30K AED annually , traffic is the main problem .
I dont understand the system here , how can working class survive in this environment .
