This is height of paronoia ..... what do you think Rahul Gandhi is supplying the notes to RBI.
It is shameful that while ordinary people are lining up outside banks and ATM's , hundreds of crores in new currency notes are being recovered from connected people.
The government has no answer how they could get their hands on this much of cash when they themselves are saying that there is a shortage of cash.
All these raids only highlight the failure of demonetization, that people with unaccounted cash were able to covert old currency to new currency and the fact that while common man is running from one ATM to next to get Rs. 2000, the connected people are able to get their hands on as much as cash as they want. Until few days ago, banks had already collected 13 lakh crores of the 15 lakh crores of old Rs, 500 and Rs. 1000 in circulation. Looks like very little of the the money that is not going to come back to the system is going to be "black money" and "fake money", mostly it is those people's money who do not have bank accounts, savings stashed away in cash and forgotten, cash with NRIs, etc. 50 days are soon going to be over but cash woes are still continuing. Modi is now saying will soon start crack down on benami properties but he should have started with that and spared the demonetization.

Wrong and distorted impression being created that the people of India are always standing at ATMs. Amir Khan Dangal collections have crossed 100 crores in the first week end itself. Even if we assume it is 100% only done through internet, does it not give a fair idea of the mood of the people. Like Brexit or Hillary defeat the media here too is going to fail, because they are not honest but giving wrong news.
May be it is the former FM P.Chidambaram's friends who are sending their employees in different directions ATMs to bring home money. It is those people who are swelling up the queues and making life difficult for ordinary people who hardly require to stand once or twice a week.
People like PC have at last started worrying about the common man for which at least we must thank NaMo. The former has a good chance of getting his deposit if he contests the next elections. But after Dec30, he is in a hurry to withdraw all his money and for that too he is hiding behind common man ("Common man will not accept refusal of withdrawal of his money after Dec30). NaMo says he is going to enact another benami property law to counter PC instigating the gullible. Thus there may be a game of chess.
Like excess sugar in the blood affecting all the organs, this excess 85% of 500s and 1000s created by MMS and PC has totally destroyed our economy. May be the following Auditor Gurumurthy lecture can throw more light.

The Nexus of corrupted bank officials and hoarders are the ones who should be condemned and shamed instead of the govt which is trying to even the playing field for all. The repeated cash trapping and the raids gives credence to the rumors that these new notes have some tracking mode that the IT department and RBI is able to track them so often.
Why don't people blame the bank employee who are facilitating this illegal conversion? Are they all working for Modi? It is the small section of these dishonest Indians who are responsible for this demonetization drive and the mango people need to come together and fight these crooks. If they want a corruption free society, mango people have to contribute and not blame the govt for everything.
Benami property rule is already in existence, it needs to be implemented.
Praising or complaining, I am pleased to see everyone involved and suddenly voicing their opinions. That is good for democracy. Whether this drive brings the expected results, only time will tell. At least the guy is doing something instead of the indecisive UPA 1&2 period. Not all decisions are right all the time, but you should have a leader who is acting, not just watching/reacting.

Just now read in the news channel ticker that NRIs can deposit notes up to June'17 end in select Reserve Bank Branches. This is as issued by the Finance Ministry. Details awaited.

Modi is staking all political capital on one silly idea and losing all public support in India and abroad. Really sad b/c if he goes, we have crooks ready to take over.
