What happened to Prabhu poster ? That guy was pure jokes ..lol. Wasn't he banned or something ?

As far as I am concerned, I donot think that the above were major losses for CD.
The major loss was :
1. Masoodji (on immigration matters)
2. BL (Moderation, crisp thinking).
Though BL still comes in once in a while, still the original BL is gone.
Kalia (realtor) is gone now. Wonder why when the most real estate deals are being done only now.
Currently, I can compare only AT as the best contributor to CD. I have been out of Canada for more than 4 years and at the best am a toothless snake.

Also missing Lana 2005, Transmongifier and Ashfedc.
When Lana 2005 was here, many gents came to CD to post and trying to impress here. We even had a CD meeting at SS's house with her,wherein I was a guest.
Transmongifer was a great guy with a great sense of humor and a technical english speaking gab.
Ashedfc looked like a very good economist but failed. Even a few CD's who invested based on his advice lost their pants and shirts. Many still have the Gold and Silver in their lockers having lost some 30% of their investments.
Morning Rain was very good. She was always positive about Canada and emphasized that Desi resumes must be crisp and without spelling mistakes. She even proof read a couple of desi resumes. CD will miss her services.

Coming back to the original post, I am seeing some advertisements in CD (as soon as I post). This include :
Chatr and Max life (insurance), TD and Freshco..

These are crappy and annoying Google AdSense ads. They pay peanuts. Usually they are PPC- Pay Per Click. You will get something like $ 4 per 1,000 clicks or impressions.
Getting a banner ad directly from TD, Freshco etc is different . Its a fixed monthly amount which the company directly pays the web site owner say $ 1,000 a month or something like that.
Google Adsense is a JOKE, they also cheat you many times and suspend your Adsense account whenever they want saying you did CLICK fraud, even if NO such thing happened

. Honestly I have lost close to $ 10,000 in stocks due to the stupid forum STOCKHOUSE, where I invested in some penny mining stocks, the mining company was a scam and went bankrupt..lol
