Darn! 2 years ago on Black Friday, I bought a 2TB external Elements hard drive for $69 US - from US. It was 4 O'clock in the morning, no border lineups, and without standing in the queue overnight. I got lucky actually. The gadget is still going great.
Strange, the prices haven't gone down much, rather shot up. Something unheard of with respect to the technology.
Deals and Canada don't quite gell and go well with each other anyway.

Now 3 TB, may retail for around $ 49.99 in the US. Please check and inform.
In the GTA, I was just 119 kms from the border. My Toyota corolla used to give 13 kms / litre. So for a return trip I spend $ 20 on gas (92 cents / litre) and I love the drive.
I used to get :
1. $ 4.99 milk Canada for $ 2.3 in USA
2. $ 29.99 dresses in Canada for $9.99 in USA
and the list will go on. $ 20 gas money is child's money.
I wish Canadians will buy all the needed groceries / things needed for 2 weeks by having a trip to USA every 2 weeks.
Then may be the cdn retailers will have some sense.
