Lol! Lenin, Mao, Hitler and many other leaders grabbed the power in name of “clean politics”. Even Indira and your ex-god Manmohan also espoused clean politics. If someone believes that power does not corrupt, then that person is living in utopia.

So to surmise that Kejriwal and his acolytes want “clean” politics and Modi is corrupt is rather simplistic and divorced from reality. I know people like escapism and like to dream because these notions provide some relief from harsh realities.

I think you should be little more sceptical, examine Kejriwal’s time at Income tax department, examine his conduct then after. Anyone who has ever been in managerial position in his career would know that an executive has to take many tough and sometimes very controversial decisions. Given Indian system of justice and policing, it is even more tough to prove corruption. Kejriwal never had the power that other politicians in power have and since he had no real chance (except in tax dept. where he served) to take bribes, he can scream that he is “clean” and honest. We have 4 classic examples – Mulayam , Nitish and Lalu – product of great JP movement. Look where they are and kind of corruption and divisive politics they have wrecked upon India. Then we have your ex-god MMS. Every newspaper and news channel in India was screaming at top of their voice that MMS is the most honest and “clean” bureaucrat turned politician. Now MMS is synonym for corruption. I remember that till a few months back, my post on MMS used to invite derisive comments.

Kejriwal, in my opinion, is a gutter rat who has no morals (a moral person does not believe in snatching money from working people and redistributing lazy busybodies for votes), he has no ethics and has no idea how a business runs. How can such a person ever be a successful CM?

After Radia tape scandal, one should know how paid media works. The paid media does what Kangress wants. The same paid media has given tremendous publicity to Kejriwal. The pay off comes from Kangress coffers.

Kangress has the smartest and most efficient political machinery. Kangress knew that they have lost Delhi and would lose to Modi. They found a true “jaichand” in Kejriwal. Their larger game plan is to divide anti-Kangress votes and Kejriwal is the most ideal person. By promoting Kejriwal, they have killed two birds with one stone.

That said, I absolutely agree with you that Kejriwal would become CM – either on his own or with support of Kangress. Secondly, in my opinion, Kejriwal would ensure that BJP-modi would lose 25-30 urban seats. That number is enough to stopp Modi Juggernaut in its track.

How can you say that he cheated Anna Hazare. Arvind was with Anna to get the Lokpal Bill. When Congress and BJP, after promising the Bill, backed out, what should do you think, Arvind should have done. I don't understand that why people think that he should not join the politics. I believe they take it as a threat to their political existence or they don't like a clean politics.

Tell me what is the harm in having a transparency of the political parties donation system? What is the harm in keeping criminals away from the political system?
