Happy New year to all,
Fearful of disappointment, and yet so very excited. It has been a long time since there is a glimmer of hope for our country and our people. The future looked bleak and desolate - and suddenly things are changing. I like the stories of qualified and educated people leaving their high posts and joining AAP. It is unfurling like a movie right now. High paced and eventful. Hope this momentum is maintained and some real progress made. As always, there are those who have started criticizing - govt's can't run on freebies - they will make a bigger mess, electricity and water are short term goals etc.
AAP will need time to make changes - something which is so difficult when so much is at stake - working under the continuous scrutinizing glare- people wanting you to fail and those who don't want you to - but still expect you to fail and let them down.
Being let down too often does that to you - you find comfort in being let down - and hope leaves you scared and helpless.
Somehow, I am believing that we shall witness a revolution in our lives. I am hopeful that my children will inherit a better India than the one I did.
..and today AAP passed on confidence test in assembly. AAP will be a able to teach 'how to govern' for few more months, hopefully years. Many of us are winners today. BJP 's attempt to deny any support to issues of aam admi of delhi totally thwarted. Dr. Harshvardhan proved to be just another politician contrary to his image. They earlier boasted of constructive support ot whoever makes govt. With such showing and such dwindeling approach , I doubt if BJP will come to power in LS elections. People are watching...
AAP has just offered freebies, which is just a gimmick.
For Electricity -
those consuming 201 unit, will now pay 547/- as compared to 717/- in Sheila's Congress (a saving of 170 Rs)
those consuming 401 unit, will now pay 2312/- as compared to 1858/- in Sheila's Congress (an extra burden of 454 Rs).... this is where majority of Delhi middle class (so called Aam Admi falls)..
& the biggest joke is Kejriwal wants proof of corruption against Sheila Dixit, (& that too it wants BJP to provide the proof). Common whole of India is watching your each & every statement, & how your entire history of AAP was based on fighting corruption, & now you are just a dumb a**.. (No wonder the deal brokered by Mr. Munjal has to be restored at all cost)..
Two important developments in Indian politics today - Yeddyurappa back in BJP and Virbhadra Singh caught taking 1.99 Crores rupees on paper. An interesting debate to watch.

I am sure that a storm is brewing in Indian politics and both main national parties are not catching it up.

A Delhite in Toronto
In the case of Yeddi, he was removed from the CM post by the party leadership at the centre, though with much difficulty, as he had built up a coterie around him. It did cost the BJP losing power in the state, for they lost many seats due to the split in votes.
But in the case of Virabhadra, the Congress leadership is looking the other way for the last 5 days.
Even on 2G and Coalgate, our PM in today's press conference said that he "felt sad" and that history will prove that he was innocent. That really absolves him.
Looks like it is going to be a shoot out between Good, Bad and Ugly. May be Ugly may even win the treasure.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now HINDU RAKSHAK DAL , B team of BJP have started to play its part in thrashing the aam admis. This is apparant that more of such attacks will be conducted by BJP in future through the its subsidaries i.e, "Sena" to demoralise the AAP volunteers and then same BJP will condemn the attacks on tv. Sounds similar to what Pakistan does always !
