Lets stop picking on just one religion, best yet lets keep religion out of our discussions because it just clouds peoples judgement.
Well the problem with the followers of islam is that majority muslims who may be peaceful never condemn the atrocities done by a small minority of followers of islam even on innocents and weak people.
I am not against islam per se, but I find that the MOST liberal muslims I have met so far have difficulty accepting something clearly a terrorist act done by minority terrorists ( muslims ). In fact they will give so many reasons to justify the act, even on innocent victims.
I am not able to understand why all the muslims feel victimised ( from all nationalities all over the world ) for a percieved wrong by one/few person(s) against a particular muslim fellow(s). There are almost all of the muslims ( even peace loving majority ) on streets to protest, but unfortunately none of these peace loving muslims come on streets when a fellow muslim(s) does something wrong to others ( even if it is 9/11 , so many attacks on mumbai, london, killing sikhs and hindus in the name of jazia in Pakistan or any others even where the victims are innocents and weak ).
I have never heard any muslim friend condemn it, though I have found some even justify these atrocities.
I think muslims have to come together to condemn the wrongs done by fellow muslims and sustain the condemnation of the wrongs done by fellow muslims. if the majoriy peace loving muslim population doesnt do so others will always be suspicious of muslims ( or people who look like muslims ) and these kind of questions will be raised by many people.
There has to be some effort from within muslim community to improve their image just like sikhs in punjab. Majority of sikhs opposed/condemned the terrorism/killings of innocent people in punjab and tht is why punjab is peaceful today because people from within the community stood up against atrocities/wrongs done by the fellow men.
Another thing I am not able to understand is what is the purpose of these islamist jihadi's who keep on killing innocent people. In punjab at least some people had political goals but what is the goal of these muslims who are ready to take innocent lifes and also to give up their life in the process ?
The answers have to come from within the Muslim community .

I just want to point out , i am not a muslim.. nor do i practice any kind of religion but i still find this general bias against one religion harmful.
If u want to hate religion, hate all of them, because all are equally bad..

No body would pick islam if Islam dominated countries would be secular,banish apostasy laws,shun polygamy,treat women well,give equal rights to everyone,do not procreate like pigs and integrate with the society when they immigrate-As long Islam does not follow golden rule it is going to be picked and ridiculed and devout muslims will be viewed as potential terrorists.

You can see Taqiya in full force in the past few posts.
1) E.g: CIA blew up Twin towers, CIA did the mumbai 26/11, CIA did that, CIA did this...etc. It's not that they really believe it. It's all about playing innocent and hoping that everyone got fooled.
2) Some popular Taqiya arguments are 'It's not just Islam. Extremism is in every religion. See!!..We are all equal, equal’. Hainjee?
3) Peace loving gents like Ice-cube will quote some nice shayiri's and soothing verses to make everyone feel good.
The daily violence raging in everyone one of the Islamic countries is the clearest indictation that Islam has failed mankind in every possible way, politically, economically, culturally, socially etc.
I have two simple questions for all the above gentlemen:
1) If Islam did not work for countries like Pakistan, Iraq, Afganistan etc etc, why do you think it will do wonders in Canada?
2) When Canada (or any country for that matter) falls to Islamic fundamentalism where will you migrate to?
